I would definitely recommend Federico as a builder.

I am a performing musician and was on John Fahey's Takoma label in the 1970's. I have known Federico for over 25 years.  He has repaired most of my instruments over the years  including my two Bozo Podunavac guitars, each of which is valued at over $5000.00

I have a 12 string, 12 course guitar built by Federico, which is quite magnificent.  I have had the opportunity to play Federico's guitars and he is building a custom six string for my son for graduation.

Federico also restored John Fahey's shattered '39 Ray Whitley Recording King which had been considered by most to be completely destroyed, a total loss.  I have used that guitar to record.  It was a nearly impossible repair job.

Federico also has a collection of woods that is quite amazing.  He has been collecting them for as long as I've known him.  Should he build you a guitar it will be assembled from these extraordinary woods.
