The diocese of Palencia has organized during the summer of

2010 a series of concerts for pilgrims in important churches

along the way of Santiago. We bring you, the pilgrim, classical

music for the guitar performed by great international masters

of the instrument.

This is the first such program performed along El Camino.

We wish to offer you moments of peace, beauty, and life in

connection with the architecture, culture, and the millennia

of history so that God may walk with you.

We extend our thanks to Dr. Federico Sheppard for contacting

and organizing the artists who will accompany the pilgrim

with their music. He has completed three Caminos, and wishes

in this way to return the help he has received along the way.

We also thank the province of Palencia for their help in this

collaboration, and all of the local governments, albergues,

houses for pilgrims, hostals and the congregations of the

churches involved.
